Align Recruitment is partnering with a leading developer-builder in Vancouver, BC and seeking a Project Coordinator to join their growing team.
Our client has 4 offices across Canada and they specialize in building multi-family wood-frame projects. They are a fast growing company and have 200+ employees. They are known for providing unwavering commitment to their company culture and amazing service and products to their clients.
The Project Coordinator will work on-site and report into the Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with subcontractors, architects and consultants and suppliers;
- Managing project documents such as contracts, RFIs, RFQs, change notices, and design revisions;
- Coordinating meetings with all project stakeholders;
- Maintaining meeting minutes;
- Ordering, scheduling and tracking material deliveries to job sites;
- Assisting in the preparation of purchase orders, subcontracts and change orders;
- Monitoring site conditions/progress and reporting back to PM;
- Working with Administrator & Superintendent to ensure that deliveries are expedited and coordinated.
Requirements:
- ABET Diploma and/or Construction Management Degree from BCIT
- 3-5 years of work experience in a project coordination role
- Proficient in MS Office
- Precise attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
